SOLD! Mosrite Ventures II (early mark v) . . .

FOR SALE: 1966 Ventures II (this preceded the Mark V). I believe that in early '66 when Mosrite was Making The Slab Bodied Ventures II they also offered this guitar with a Ventures II logo. When the slab body was discontinued, this style guitar was renamed the "Mark V."

The guitar is in good shape for it's age (over forty years old), plugged it in and it plays (there's a slight buzz). It could use being taken to a shop to be set up. I got a hold of it and never really played it, I rather see it go to a good home then sit in a case not being touched.

She's a beauty! I notice that one of the tuning keys ( high E) is different from the others...

Someone with the 'rite' amount of dough should snap it up real quick and be the new proud owner, I'd say ;) ...good luck selling it Brian!

I did forget to mention that... The one tuner is a repro "Mosrite" tuner... It reads "Mosrite" on the back instead of "Kluson."

do you know if this guitar has been refinished? it's pretty rare to see a mosrite mark V in natural.

It went on eBay... I was hoping that it would stay in the family, but no one from the board stepped up.
