It is with much regret that I have to part with my Mosrite. It's a Ventures reissue made in Japan by Excellent, in stunning Pearl White. I was told it was made circa '02, but I have no idea how to tell for sure. I don't have to tell you guys how great these are; this one is no exception. It was lovingly gigged and recorded with on many occasions over the past 9 months.
There is one small blemish outside the neck pocket on the upper side. I had to take off the neck to adjust the truss rod and a small piece of pain worked itself loose. I glued it back on quickly (see pic).
I'm asking $1300 +shipping; please let me know if this is off the mark as I don't follow these guitars as often as I do others. The gorgeous and unused alligator-skin hardshell case is included.

I bought one exactly like this last weekend ( except your tuners are different to mine) and it is a beautiful guitar, in fact it's the best Mosrite I've ever owned. I really feel sorry that you have to let it go but I can see you've had some good times with it. Maybe somewhere down the road there's another waiting for you.

Also: I believe these are 60's tuners and the knobs are from a 60's Mosrite.

The knobs are Japanese and original to the guitar. Don't know about the tuners; do they say Mosrite or Kluson on the back?

Can you give me the dimension of the neck at the nut and the 12 & 22 fret and the depth . I heard that some of the MIJ Mosrite have even thinner neck than the Original. I know nothing about a Excellent what do they list for $$$.

The neck on my new Excellent isn't too far off my '71 Mosrite which has the best neck I've ever felt. This is odd as all the other Excellent's I've owned/played seem to be a tad thicker. I find all the subtle inconsistencies with the Excellent series only adds to my interest in them.
