Signed Johnny Ramone Ventures 2 Model

Postby oipunkguy » Sat May 08, 2010 6:57 pm

A friend asked me to see if anybody on here would be interested in this guitar. It's a fillmore made Mosrite Ventures 2 model. roughly 10 years ago a website called guitarpunk.com sold a set of 30 signed mosrites with an autograph from the man himself. all of these guitars came with a hardshell case, a certificate of authenticity, and a second unsigned pickguard. i think this was before fillmore was selling these guitars to ed roman.
I dont know what he wants to sell it for yet, i believe his is #27 or #29, i forget which.
Cheers,
Aaron

Those guitars were not made by Fillmore, but rather GPC.

I'll have to check with Flav but I'm pretty sure the Mosrites he sold were made by black cloud. GPC had the Rockaway model which was a johnny ramone style model but those were not the ones that were signed. If I remember right they sold for $1,300.00 unsigned and $1,550.00 signed.

yeah, these were not the GPC model, rather the japanese made mosrite. maybe you guys are right that it was not made by fillmore, but that was my understanding about these. I can get pics. I will get my buddy to send me some.

I know for a fact they are not Fillmore. I remember asking Mr. Yusa about these years ago over coffee in his office, and let's just say he was nonplussed.
