WTB: 60's Mosrite Combo (sunburst).

That's a Gene Moles assembled Combo. The 2 volumes and a tone are a dead giveaway. It's probably all late '60s parts, and I wouldn't be surprised if the large dots were installed by Gene.

Nice guitar, but I'm trying to get a Combo exactly like Gerry and Don are holding on the Cover of "The Horse" and "Live in Tokyo '68" (IIRC, Nokie used one too before he left).

The (overpriced) Combo on Ebay is exactly what the Ventures used spec wise. It's killing me that it's 20 miles from my house, but waaaaay too much money. I like the guitar, but not for 3k

I'm trying to be patient, Combo's aren't nearly as desirable as the classic solid body/Ventures model, one is bound to come up at a fair price.
