I have always thought that those Epi Les Pauls were the perfect "fixer-upper". Apparently, in the right hands, I was correct. I had one a while back that only needed some nut shaping, decent pick-ups (I used Fralin PAF duplicates) and Shaller pearl handled tuners. I've not played a Gibson that matched the touch and tone of that Epi. They are a great starting point. Much the same for the Casino if you are into the 335 style guitars.
By the way Danny, Great job.
