wow this looks great! those first pics of the guitar all yellow was so intense it reminded me of pictures of the sun from NASA. I can't wait to see it completed. you did a fine job on the mosrite burst. :D

Thanks oigun and others.

I did the German Carve and the binding channel the way you did yours. I routed the binding channel. I routed the concave edge all around. Then, I carved the top with my router (and sled rig) and got close to the top edge of the binding channel. Then I glued the binding and fine tuned the carve. I learned from your fine build, my friend. Your build was my inspiration for a Mosrite-inspired T.

I had a buddy make a new oak body for a tele for me a while back. He made it thinner and did a strat-style back and front shave to make it more comfortable to play. It was an early CBS model so it was still a sow's ear, but a nicer one.
