I bought this nut pre slotted as I do not have a set of nut files. And at $7.00 a pop I'd max out my budget so I gotta make do with what I got and hope for the best.

It's about as done as it's going to get. I have to get some string trees and lacquer the neck but I've been playing with it for a couple days now and got it dialed in how I like it. For this build I used;
Fender Robert Cray model strat body Alder with Inca silver finish
All parts LRO maple neck with rosewood fretboard
Wilkinson Deluxe vintage style tuners
Pre slotted bone nut
CTS solid shaft 500k pot with chrome barrel knob
used Seymour Duncan invader pickup
1 680pf ceramic disc capacitor
1 220k carbon comp resistor
switch craft jack
all for less than $450.00
