finally routed the four holes for the volume and tone, and the hole for the toggle switch.

got in the lp special guard, but ran into another problem. the guard was too wide, but only by a few mm's.

so what i did to solve the problem, is I trimmed off just a tiny bit of wood off the end of the fretboard. once this was done I now had room to properly place everything, and routed out the correct shape on the bridge pickup cavity, and then routed out the neck pickup cavity.

once the back lumber set up for few days drying, I used my spiral flush trim bit to clean up the sides of the body.

then it was time to drill out the holes for the controls and toggle.
