Since I don't have any Mosrites to share pictures of, here's some pics of my 60's vintage Yamahas.
This one is a '66 SG-2 kind of a cross between a Fender Jaguar, and a Mosrite, kinda.... It sounds more like a Fender.
This one is a little more Mosrite-y. Its a '69 SG-2a. It covers the Mosrite sound very well, I think.
I bought the sunburst on craigslist, sans strings, and fixed it up a bit. It's really great. I bought the blue one as a backup on ebay, and since they have the same tremolo and pickups, figured it would sound similar. They don't. Two totally different sounding guitars.

Re: Mosrite Inspired Yamahas
That reminds me, I saw a picture of a guitar that looked like a Bluesbender in a book I have. I think it was a Yamaha but I couldn't find pictures of it on the internet so I may have to take a pic of it from the book, Upload it and link to it here. By the way, How well do the vibratos work on those guitars?

One of my friends have a red SG-2 from 1967. All those guitars are really fun to play.

Actualy Im selling that Yamaha and a Fender Mustang CIJ. I need money and I cant keep so many basses right now.
The SB-1c is great for recording or playing at home, but its not the best for shows with big PA systems.
