Image I was struck by the similarity of headstock profile to Twango's guitar up in the Hallmark Owner's thread , in the Modern Mosrite and Clones section.
Pretty much the first person I showed my new Ranger to ( glowing with new guitar syndrome) remarked how similar it was to the Shergold neck. Note also the zero fret !
These were 70's , British designed , hand built guitars. The company seem to have much in common with the kind of spirit that Semie showed .. Nice to see his ideas
being picked up on over here . I read the guy worked for Burns before he went 'indie-prod' .
Anyway, a link to the Shergold website here ... http://www.shergold.co.uk/ They made a double neck bass/twelve string too ! That's got to be heavy :-)

Shame we couldn't see more of the black one too ! Yep that's it ... made 'famous' by Genesis guitarist Mike Rutherford. Good find !
It seems to have come to represent some aspect of seventies music silliness .. Ahh the younger generation , 'you had to be there man'.
Cheers Zac , nice.
