Well, I bought one of these units and thought I would be able to figure out how to make it work but it may as well been been written in a foreign language as the instructions mean absolutely nothing to me. About the only thing I've been able to do is take it out of the box and stare at it. I downloaded the required software and drivers (I guess) and hooked it up according to the intructions, but nothing happens. I'm reluctant to email M-Audio for technical help as I don't have a clue as to what questions to ask. I cannot find anything on the internet including YouTube to help in getting this operational. There is all kinds if information regarding the specs but nothing to demonstrate how to install and use it. Anybody have any ideas where to turn?

Danny, I think you're a brave man taking on this digital stuff. I myself tend to stay away from it as much as possible, although I'm still tempted to do some (digital) home recording myself one of these days.
Perhaps you need a driver update or the different softwares are in conflict. This could be an easy fix for a whizkid but a major headache for guys like myself.

I hope you get some help from someone, preferably in person. Meanwhile, you could perhaps find some pointers on home recording discussion forums like:

Good luck,
