Deke Dickerson Hallmark model.

On all of the recent vids on You Tube of Deke he is using a Telecaster and not his Hallmark model! Would anyone know why?.......Just wondering. Also not sure what section to ask this in.

If those videos are from his last Geek Fest back in January, that show was a tribute to the Telecaster as the previous year was a tribute to the Mosrite.

The ones I saw were from the Viva Las Vegas shows. Not sure when that was.

I just heard from Deke, he said one of the Grover Imperial tuners on his DD model is slipping. It needs a replacement. That is the reason he is not playing it at the moment. Should have it back in action very soon.

For a while there I thought he might have gotton away from Hallmark for some reason. Good to know the real story!

Sure, I hope he will be playing the DD Model at the Barris Car Show in Culver City this coming Sat. Any forum members who are in the LA area should come down! It will be a great show and best of all......it's free! Deke will be performing, and also the Dynotones. I will be there too, we made a Hallmark reverse Swept-Wing with a cool paint job to donate for a charity auction. One of a kind in Candy Apple green with black flames. The flames have a chameleon pearl over them that makes them change color in the light.
Anyway, if you do come down, please come and say hello. It should be a memorable time!
