that's pretty cool. I generally use nitro and my cure time usually takes longer, all depends on the weather and other environmental factors, but urethene make better since when doing a sparkle finish. thanks for the tip on harbour freight. i'd like to get a few more guns to play around with.

One thing with sparkle finishes is pictures rarely do them justice. you really just have to look at them in person to get the true effect.

finished this neon green sparklecaster tonight. needless to say, it's green....and it definately sparkles.

i actually have a black fillmore mosrite that i bought fairly cheap. i'm not really crazy about a plain black guitar, even though it is a mosrite. but for the price i paid, i couldnt pass it up. its not like you see lefties everyday. i thought about scuffing the body and spraying some flake over the black. maybe just a dash of rainbow flake that will only be seen in the stage lighting.

i'm kind of waiting to get my candy apple red mosrite from artie before i start working on my black guitar. it was to be here in 60 days. its nearly 90 days and still no word. hopefully it will be here soon.

i've flaked 3 more guitars. funny thing is, i try to embed the youtube videos to this thread, but i cant get it to work. i embedded other videos, but it's not working now.

and i've made a cleveland indians sparkle tele body. its deep blue with kamen blue flakes and a few indian decals. i'll tell ya that this one looks awesome so far. i'll have to tease you on this one till later.
