I have one with Dyna's and the tinted nitro. One of the best guitars I own!

Always loved the look of those guitars. Congrats!

Nice tuck and roll as well. I can see that the head is a K200-5 PA, but is that cabinet cut down in half?

Wow that's beautiful. I've always been a fan of those big hollowbody guitars.

Thanks, all! Chet was one of my main influences in playing, and always wanted to try a Gretsch, just never did. It is a very nice guitar, and I am glad I pulled the trigger on this one. Mr. Bill - it was cut down whe I got it, it looked like the bottom may have caught on fire! I'm always on the lookout for a 2x15 cab to replace it, just haven't found one locally, and few want to ship these things. Love my Kustoms ...

Love those Kustoms myself! (A must for any Fogerty Fan) Have a few in my collection and they sound great, the best solid state amps I've heard.
Congratulations, Great Gretsch...I couldn't afford one, so bought a White 5422T Electromatic with gold hardware, bought a gold sparkle WF repro pickguard, jeweled arrow knobs, made a gold sparkle truss rod cover, and for jollies installed a White Penguin arm rest. Viola! A poor man's White Falcon.

Try some Pyramid flatwounds on the Gretsch and I promise you pure magic.
