Barneldo, lead guitar for surf Band "Hapa," is another modern Mosrite player.
Some fine tones will waft forth from your cones and tweeters during the riffs in "Blind!" among other cuts.
Highly recommended.

Barry Flanagan (Barneldo) with his partner native Hawaiiian Axel ('forgot his real name), are the heart of Hapa. Despite there being some vocals on "Surf Madness," Barneldo's Mosrite likes like an angel on a surfboard.

I sure wish to heck I could see a VID of these guys. I tried a youtube search with no luck,
and just calling up the name is very 'bland' on the findings for the Duo.....

Arrgh!
Previous post was intended to say, "Barneldo's Mosrite sings like a suntanned, slightly naughty angel in a bikini, riding a surfboard." ('kinda like that visual)
And Axel's name is Keli'i Kaneali'i.
Best "lyric" is spoken between cuts by Axel, "You can't teach INTENSITY!"
"He'eia" is done in Hawaiian language and not your typical piece of surf music. 'Never heard anything like it. On it, Barneldo is a freaking genius. And the suntanned, slightly naughty angel wears a grass skirt for this tune.
'Verb on Hawaii Five-O is so deep, he probably used Kilauea as a reverb chamber.
Sunburst The Ventures model, BTW
