I was at the fancy hardware store this weekend and was looking thru the books and magazines on woodworking and discovered the current issue of Fretboard Journal (Spring 2009). There is a wonderful article about Deke Dickerson in it.
Lots of wonderful pics and great article. I couldn't get it because I had to get some new router bits. It's a pricey publication but looks really worth it.

I just noticed that myself, Deke the photo looks great! I would like to get a copy and check out the article. Did anyone else get to see/read it?

Got ahold of my copy recently. It's a totally fun read. Prominent appearance by Terry M. in the story. I enjoyed the writing, photography and design, but it seems like you couldn't go wrong with the subject matter. Deke's appreciation for the golden age of guitar amplification is part tribute, part legacy. (I keep trying to write more, but the article speaks better for itself!)

Hi all,
Deke also appears in a few graphs of the summer issue. In an article about Paul Buskirk, the writer recounts how Deke receives Buskirk's Harvey double neck.

Well done, Deke! Three consecutive and I think you owe us all a beer.

Read that one, and also the Summer issue has an article on Mosrite (Ventures model). Wish I had one of those trees like Deke has ... I'm cursed with Bradford pear trees. How DO you grow those doublenecks???

And I STILL CAN NOT find 'the Fretboard Journal' in BORDERS or any of the Newstands down here  .
But bottom line, Deke is Spotlighted in this Issue, and I believe it was 'mosrite69' who said they did a story
on his Mo' that he ordered back in '87 up in Jonas Ridge NC, so I HAVE TO FIND this Issue....

Trent, if you have a clue where we might find this Issue, please PM me ;) .....

While browsing Guitar magazines in Borders a few months ago I came across this. Sadly I didn't read the whole article, I thought it was pretty cool to find a guitar magazine with articles talking about Mosrite guitars though.
