By chance came across this Nokie-influenced player on a Hallmark, fitted out with Ed Elliott pickups. He plays very well and has posted more of his covers of Ventures songs on YouTube. Anyone we know from the Forum?! (perhaps arpsum has heard of him...)

Re: Hallmark - Elliott Magic!
Ed sells them on eBay for a certain price. However, he will sell to forum member for a special price if he already has them made up. As I have said numerous times before in other posts on this website, always give the vendor a call and talk to them in person and tell them your are a Mosrite forum member. It can certainly make a difference. Otherwise if money is no object, he sells them for $150 each on eBay plus shipping. Most folks I know here on the forum paid no where near that price but he'll gladly accept it if you aren't concerned.

Re: Hallmark - Elliott Magic!
Hey Guys,
I'm back on line and taking new orders for guitars and basses, pickups too!
Since I got back from Deke's guitar show I've been working on a new model
Based on my '61 Pre- Ventures proto-type model, like Mel is holding in the photo
of us at Deke's show, but with 3 of my '59 style dog-eared pickups, 5 way selector switch ,hand-carved aluminum tremelo and bridge with a flip mute and the cool
aircraft bearings and a head stock overlay just like the one on the original Gene Moles
Mosrite, Anyway, Photos coming soon!
If any one would to talk to me about a custom guitar, bass or a set of pickups,or just a
Mosrite qustion.
I always have time to talk guitar.

Ed, that sounds like an AWESOME guitar you're building! The one pickup model played like a charm, now three pickups and a vibrato, now thats a potent setup! FWIW, I've got Ed's pickups in my 3-pickup Partsrite, and they are top notch.
