what a heck of a guy. He is very similar to folks like Lindy Fralin, and Dr. Z, and Red Rhodes and Walter Carter and Eugene Moles.
very very helpful and will take time away from his production to answer and direct me to his competitors when he cannot come up with a soloution.

He helped me immensely on my 65 Mark I.
Now I so want his deke dickerson model.
I gotta pay bills, so no Beautiful TNM town Hall for me.
Bob please take payments, then when it's paid off, Mail away

Thank you! Nice one El Tuce.

I enjoy helping other guys who love their Mosrite's and Hallmarks, TNM's etc.. as much as I love mine. I have been restoring Mosrite's for years, from firewood body's and necks, headstocks chopped off, rewinding or making new pickups, creating parts that no longer exist to get the job done, re-finishing and re-screening logo's, you name it, it has come through my shop, and I love to make them look like they just rolled off the assembly line in the 60's. I have been doing it since the 70's and still enjoy it to this day.

The real thanks should go to the creators of the forum and it's members and guy's like Deke Dickerson who continue to carry the torch for all of us. This forum is a great place to find information, friends, and help with your on your old project whom without, we would not be able to do what we do.

Bob, from time to time I get contacted by someone via my website with dead pickups, etc. Is it okay to put them in touch with you to rebuild them?

Hi Sarah, absolutely.............I just rebuilt one the other day for a guy in MA. It was a registered trademark Mosrite pickup from 66. These had a slightly larger bobbin and we not wound quite as hot from the factory as a result because you could not get as much wire on them. It wound out to about 10K which was what most of the later examples read at. It varied, I have seen some as low as 8K which for Mosrite was I guess you could say underwound.

On a side note, if the pickup is missing parts we have original NOS Mosrite magnets in stock from the 60's and 70's we have acquired.

One more point of interest if anybody has some firewood projects out there, I have apr. 100 original Mosrite fingerboard blanks that have been stored since 1968 and are bone dry and will provide amazing tone. Some are Indian and some are brazilian rosewood. I acquired these at my archaelogical dig at Joe Halls old shop. He had alot of NOS Mosrite parts and these fingerboards were laying under a table with about 3" of dirt on top. It was like digging out treasure from King Tut's tomb! Joe acquired these parts at the beginning of the Hallmark Guitar period in about 66 to build the Hallmark Swept-Wing's and this is what was left. The boards are blanks and have not been cut or slotted.

Man am I glad to have this stuff now because finding it, is half the battle.

Terry, need fretboards?

Bob

Thanks Sarah, I just sent Dennis 2- Brazil boards with striking grain. You can ask him in a bout a week how he likes em.
