Can anyone advise what program I should get to make my own business cards. I get tired of always having to search for pen and paper when I meet someone and want to exchange contact information. I see you can buy blank card stock at Costco, I just don't know what program I need for my computer.

If you've got MS Word on your computer, look under the Tools menu for an item called Envelopes and Labels (it might be under Letters and Mailings as well, depending on the version) Using the Labels tab, click the Options button. You can then choose from a list of different label sizes, including Business Card. Click OK, then New Document. That will get you a formatted sheet.

Thanks, Mel.

That did get me started. Now I've got to figure out how to do colors and graphics plus how to get it onto each card. Maybe I'll just wait until someone 'I know' is in town and can walk me through the process. ;)

Try Print Shop Deluxe. Its an older program and does professional looking cards from easy step by step wizards. Its cheap (probably available at costco). It also makes those great on the fly greeting and Christmas cards or even letter head.

I have a few clients that don't like processed glossy cards from the printer. So I print an alternate (using PSD) on eco recycle paper.

Save the trees.....
So we can chop um down and make guitars out of them

There is a downloadable demo online that should let you make some cards to check it out. It just lacks the huge graphics library of the $ version.
