a Must Read-Deke Dickerson book the Strat in the Attic!!

Postby kgruggett » Mon Jun 10, 2013 6:51 pm

Sooooo excited to have just gotten my signed and autographed book from Deke Dickerson, his first publication. The Strat in the Attic and its on best seller's list already! There is SOOO MUCH ABOUT MOSRITE rare guitar finds and a great story and photo of Hallmark Swept Wing and Bill Gruggett too. It is packed with photos and stories of thrilling rare guitar finds. ' Guitararaeology' Such a great book that I had to share it with you. Ebay, Amazon, book stores or Deke's website is where you can get it, hardbound about $20.

Sounds like fun and certainly a worthwhile read.

Thank you for the heads up / ultra-brief book report. Care to e-chat a bit more about your musings on the tome?

Excellent book, read it a few weeks back. Really enjoyed it!
The gangster looks so frightening, with his luger in his hand
When he gets home to his children, he's a family man
But when it comes to the nitty-gritty, he can shove in his knife
Yes he really looks quite religious, he's been an outlaw all his life

This is a great book - picked it up at the EMP museum in Seattle! The bit about Gino King being reunited with his doubleneck Mosrite made me bust out crying in public; good job, Deke.
