Is it a Mark II?

Postby moscarabino » Tue Jun 17, 2014 3:34 pm

Hi guys, I'm just about to buy this Ventures Mark II Mosrite, from '91, USA.
The question is, how do I reallize if it's really made in the USA?

Bridge microphone it's a Seymour Duncan, I think original was a Fs-1 Di Marzio, maybe it was changed by previous owner.

It looks like a Kurokumo (Mosrite Japan) to me. I also think it's more recent than '91, probably from the 2000s.
Cheers,

Thanks for your oppinion, now can you please explain me how can I now it for sure?
It's there a serial number pattern or something that I should look for?

I see that it is similar to this one (I don't know if its a Kurokumo or a Mosrite, I think it's M.)

Also the miniHandbucker has the Seymour Duncan "S" logo on it.
