I just bought a Mark 1 off Gibsondependable and agree that it is a shame that they are taking apart what are essentially good workable guitars and parting them out ,based on what I paid and the condition I am also really surprised if they are making much money !

Howdy again Scoot,
Just wondering on how you felt about your deal with Gibsondependable. I've read alot of negative comments about the seller, not referring to the practice of breaking down guitars...just about the quality of the parts vs. the sellers description. Your thoughts?

I've got it !
With all the PC stuff floating around, why not contact eBay, and tell them, as a group, it is very offensive for a seller, to part out otherwise good complete guitars.

They probably have a fee for that. ;)

Hi BRRanger
I have bought quite a few items from them in the last month (most for the same Mosrite )and found them too be accurate in description if you read their key ,their pricing seems fair for what is rare stuff
They don't seem chit chat and it is hard to do combined postage but as they say they are high volume
Overall if they have it and i wanted it I would buy off them again
Yes it is a shame that they take apart beautiful instruments but there is a market for it and they are filling it
Am dealing with Bob Shade on another part at the moment and that is a very good and different experience as you can feel the passion

Thanks Scoot,
I have been tempted to buy stuff from him (looking for a parted out Rick 320 body to restore) but read some bad stuff. Thanks for sharing your positive experiences.
