I bought one of these from LMII (model TRED) and it fits the bass channel perfectly.....

You never did say specifically (that I recall) but did you have a problem with your bass and needed to replace the trussrod?

Sorry, I thought I did. The top of the truss rod was bent and wouldn't allow for adjustment. So, I took it apart, fixed the bend, sand off some rough spot and now just need to braze the bottom halves back together. In the meantime, I put this rod in since I don't have any brazing equipment but I do have a welder friend I'll tap for it when I have some time.
It's nice to know there's something that will fit if the rod ever becomes non-functional. The new one has a superior tightening/screw mechanism that won't bend like the old Mosrite rod.
