Most of us that needed a case have purchased one of the Hallmark Custom 60 brown alligator type case that strongly resembles the early '60s Mosrite case. IIRC I think they are around $130 plus shipping. The Jazzmaster case isn't quite wide enough.

Re: Will a Mosrite guitar fit in a Jazzmaster case
John,
When I still had my '65 Jazzmaster, my Ventures Models (Mark I) did not fit, because of
the lower part of the body being a 'pinch' too wide. If Fender's cases are still being made with
the same dimensions, then I would have to say no.
Hallmark, TKL and a few others will fit the Mosrites. One of our members on the Forum 'Vintage Soul' is
selling Bass Cases, and there was some talk about possibly making guitar cases, but I haven't seen
him post anything recently. I do know he would probably make a killing with most members looking
for replacement cases for their guitars.

A lefthanded Jazzmaster case might work, as that is essentially what Mosrite used in the early '80s. However, a lefty Jazzmaster case would probably be as hard to track down as an original Mosrite case.

Adam,
Was the Lefty J.M. case wider than the right handed model?

If I remember correctly, the issue is the orientation of the guitar rather than the width of the case. The After Fire cases were essentially lefty Jazzmaster cases with extra form fitting, made by the same supplier as Fender.
This is what I'm talking about:

I'm going to make a custom case for my ranger and work is slowing down at the shop, so I'll have time to do more, if anyone wants one let me know.
