What type strings did Semie put on his guitars ?
I would think that would have something to do with his unique sound.

I'm guessing Mosrite strings since they also sold a lot them. Maybe someone knows difinitively.

Does anyone know if they were flatwounds? Did Semie market other guitar-string sets?

Are the windings on the low strings flat or rounded?

Those are the same as my Ernie Ball 10-46's. No wonder I sound so much like the Ventures when I play.

sidenote: Ernie and Semie used to get together on Sunday afternoons and have jam sessions..... :)
