Joe Maphis solid body double neck-earlier style

Postby Strat-o-rama » Tue Sep 23, 2008 12:07 pm

While checking out various "Americana" recording artists, I stumbled across this:

I know it's not very detailed, but it does give a slightly different angle of view on one of the pre-production Joe Maphis double necks. It definitely has the rounded dog ear type pick-up covers.
I know there is some interest amongst members here to clone these, so here's another picture of one, FWIW.

Who is this guy? Not only does he have a million dollars worth of instruments, he has a house big enough to display them all!

Man, you could play one instrument a day and not leave for a year.

Buddy Miller. I know someone from another forum who's sold him a few of those.
