Duckfoot Bass Tuning Pegs?

Postby sycamoregrove » Wed Oct 01, 2008 3:18 pm

I need two Duckfoot Bass Tuning Pegs for a Celebrity bass I'm restoring. I don't care if they're repros or not (are repros even Available?!) in fact I'd rather they were new rather than vintage. I've never seen anyone selling anything like them anywhere ever. . . . dang it.

Any clue?

The only place I know to ever find these rare gems is eBay. You have to 'hawk' eBay constantly or you'll miss the opportunity. For instance, one of our forum members ;) grabbed a pair off eBay yesterday. They don't stay listed for long.

I bought it before I had time to think actually. I shouldn't have bought it, I should be selling the two I Have. LOL. I was sure I still had one broken one around, but can't seem to find it. If I can't find that one then I'm either going to have to search and search 'til I find another or sell what I've got.

How much did the other pair sell for?

No, that wasn't the case Dennis. There were two tuners for sale. They were both in perfect condition. The broken one was not for sale. The seller just added that photo to show what they looked like inside.
