Are you painting with a paint gun or spray cans?

I use both. The only major advantage to using a gun is that you can premix custom colors, whereas with a can you are stuck with the color you got.
on a large scale, it's cheaper to use guns, but if it's just a one man operation, stick with aerosol cans, it's so much simpler. hope this helps.

I have a spray rig, but I have only used rattle cans for refinishing ... easy to use, no cleanup, and the variety of colors is vast.

More photos - Nearing completion as I need to ream out the tuner bushing holes (painting shrunk them) and install the string guide.

Next - keeping my fingers crossed that everything works together as it should. I did order some of the old style roller bridge saddles from Bob at Hallmark to replace these non-rolling saddles.

that's turning out great. I might have to make the 2-1/2 hour drive to come and see it when it done.

Thanks for the kind comments - it's been a labor of love, (and a rocky romance at times) - just be glad when it's together.
