VERY NICE!
So tell us, how does it sound and how does it play? What pickups did you use?

Re: my copy
Hey guys, I'm an engineer in the aerospace industry and use a 3D modelling program called Catia, I wouldnt mind putting together a 3D model and drawings (in PDF) for both Ventures 1 & 2 models if someone had a template for me to go off? I could start with this sketch to go off to create a full size model but might need some more dimensions (havent fully checked this thread mind)..

Re: my copy
hi people! thank you so much for the positive feedback. it took so long for me to finish the paint job because i made a mistake on couple of sessions. I've painted this guitar 3 colors already and i didnt like it and decided to settle with the ocean metallic blue color... by the way i used aerosol spray paint can. 2 cans to be exact. . i ordered the machineheads on ebay.very cheap i think and it is made in korea. The pick ups i just got it here at our local music store for 3 dollars each. its decent quality, well it is 150 pesos(3dollars). i also got the kobs here for 2 dollars each...i'm getting a buzzy sound when i strum it. do you guys have any suggestion?should i adjust the truss rod or file the fretwires perhaps?

jOHNNY,
1) FIRST, CHECK TO SEE IF IT MIGHT BE SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS MAYBE THE STRINGS ARE JUST TOO LOW....
2) If the height seems to be fine, check to see if the neck might be "too straight." All necks need to have some relief, otherwise, that little sucker will buzz like a cigar box full of Killer Bees .
3) If you think that's OK, then I would check to see if you have some frets that are sitting a little higher than the rest of the gang. If that's the case, this is where I would send up a White Flag, and wait for Dr Danny or Dr. Mel to respond......and THEY WILL.
AND YEAH JASON, somewhere on this Forum are DIMS of the guitars. I'm like dead sure it was Dr. Danny that posted it. He will Chime in here once he sees your post .
