Thanks guys, Oigun and I have decided on 4,2mm at the 0fret. This neck will be somewhat of a Fender sized one.

FWIW, the guitars Jesus Diaz Huipe is making for Loretta/Swing Science are 1 9/16 inches at the nut (0 fret), which puts them very much like Danny's '66.

Thanks for that. I figured since it's not an original, I might as well tweak it a little. This will be a player, if it's anything like the lefty Oigun built before I might just not play my other guitars anymore... ;)

If you have a table saw you could make a taper jig and cut the the taper to acomadate the width nut end to tail stock taper you require. Thats what I did on my build.

Hi, cause my lefty mosrite project is coming to a closure Its time for something else: A Lefty mosrite shortscale bass.
I was wondering, are the outlines of the guitar and bass bodys the same?
Thnx.

Unfortunately no. Body, neck and headstock are larger. A trace drawing could be available when the time comes. ;)

Anybody outthere that can do a quick bit of measuring for Oigun and me? We're trying to decide where to place the vibrato I received from M3. Due to some unexpected difference in stringspacing Oigun thought the vibrato piece would have to be moved back from the bridge considerably. To me the position he's planning doesn't look right. Can anybody get me the distance from the center of the roller bridge to the stringachor on the vibrato?
Do Oigun a favor and answer tonight please, the poor guy doesn't know what to do with himself ;)
But seriously, I need an answer fast, thanks guys.

From the center of the 'bridge post' (which is exactly center of the bridge) to the center of 'bearings' of the tail piece is 2 3/4 inches.
