New York State Fair

Just in case anyone happens to be in N.Y.S. on Aug.26th. 7:30-9:30pm the band I am in will be playing there.

That is our plan and every job we play before the fair is starting out with the show we have planed for that day. We won't play straight through on them but that gives us 4 shows not counting practices before the fair. Fortunately all our shows are in different places. LOL

Are they supplying the Band with Backline equipment?......
or (oh God) are you having to transport from one location
to the next? :shock:

We always move and setup our own equipment. Not fun but that's how it is. This is a new venue to the fair this year (3 bands on 3 different nights) so we don't know what to expect right now. We are not the first band playing so we should know all we need by the night we play.

The State Fair job went better than we could have asked for. We have already been asked back next year. We should have some pics soon and I will try to get some up everyone. Only draw is I was playing mu 6122-59 Gretsch.
