why is the gigs forum locked?

I was going to post a upcoming gig in chi town.
How did you post here if it is locked?
Actually this is a brand new forum that just started today. When you saw it locked earlier in the day, that was because I was still in the process of setting it up. This forum is the brain child of our forums own MESHUGGA guitarist, Mel Waldorf.
