This is a link to a video for our surf inspired band, The AmpFibians from Cincinnati.

The song is Hot Lava Pants which includes my Combo in action.

The song is off our recent 10 song CD, Wild Watusi Weekend.

The video was shot May 28th at our monthly Surf Night @ Mahogany's in Latonia,Ky. by Mr. Tiki Tim.

Chicago's Cocktail Preachers also performed that night...Mr.Tiki Tim has some great videos of their show as well.

Hope you enjoy the Mosrite action.

I'm friends with The Cocktail Preachers and their other band 13 Tikis, both great surf bands. Anyone in the Chicago area should check out Tiki night at Chef Shangrila at 26th st and Des Plaines road in North Riverside, 3rd saturday of every month. Prizes, live music and strong(and cheap!) tropical drinks. Fun place. Good food too!

Good stuff, I dig those 'jazzy' chords too. One word: COOL! 8-)

Thanks for listening....we're lucky to have some decent footage, seem's like there's always something to go wrong when filming at a club.

I really love the Combo. I think this Combo came with a super-sized side of MOJO! I'm pretty sure the phantom tones I keep hearing are the guitar's inner voice.

Rocco: The Cocktail Preachers are a top-shelf band in my opinion. We played together in Cleveland in2010. They have a great sound and are excellent musicians. They will be performing at the SurfGuitar101 Convention in Huntington Beach, Calif. in August.

Keep the Combos in Action coming...

Really cool song, and your tone is great too. The first couple bars of the chord progression reminds me of the Classic IV's "Spooky", which I mean as a compliment.
