Bud Isaacs' Birthday Bash

Postby olrocknroller » Mon Mar 19, 2012 11:08 am

How many people knew Bud Isaacs was a Mosrite owner? Well, he is! Some of you may not know, but Bud is considered the father of the pedal-steel guitar, but was a versatile entertainer, playing bass, guitar, pedal steel etc...

Here's a pic of Bud (84 years young!) and his wife Geri

Here's his Combo...

A very happy birthday to Bud. . . and many more. So many of the giant pioneering steel players have passed. It's great to see Bud out among 'em. Tom Brumley and Ralph Mooney were among my favorites as well.
