About This Listing
Hi and thanks for clicking. This old bass has been around the block a time or two but still looks sharp and sounds fantastic. Unfortunately a previous owner switched out the pickups, pots and tuners and I do not have the original parts. Missing neck pickup height adjustment screw and spring. The M-3 California seem to be the #1 pickup replacement and these are really powerful with mojo to spare. The Grover replacement tuners work well and the instrument holds tune perfectly even with an aggressive attack. This old bass is ready to rock 'n' roll baby.

Satisfaction guaranteed.

The original hardcase pictured is included.

=============================

Red Burst has started to look a bit better to me as of late. Not just because of Mosrites, but also because of the 1965 - 1968 Kay Vanguard "Space Age" (Sharp, Pointy Body) models. It's not anywhere near my favorite finish ever, but I feel a bit better about it now.

The price was lowered again, soon after my post. Roughly $1,385 + $80 Shipping, which is actually a fairly good price for a 1970s "B I" (B 1) bass.
