MWaldorf wrote:Danny, since you recovered your Reverb to match the Bandmaster, how about making a variant on the Victoria Reverberato - 6G15 reverb and harmonic vibrato in a single box? That would go nicely with your tweed amps!

Mark at Victoria is friend of mine, these are exceptional units and extremely well made. Now you can get one that is just as well made with a slightly different reverb crcuit and tube bias tremolo from Billy Zoom. Price? I think he gets $750-$800 and they sound KILLER. The Little Kahuna, you can find info on it on The Gretsch Pages under "Billy Zooms Jet Set".

Not dissing anything Victoria(probably the best sounding Tweed repro there is) makes, but there is a lower priced and just as killer sounding alternative, and built like a tank.

Right you are Bill. They are 68K now. Thanks for pointing that out. Those different number of bands between metal and carbon gets confusing unless I'm paying close attention. I went back through and checked all resistor values and confirmed they are right. I always double, triple and quadruple check before I fire up a project. With that method, so far everything I've built works on the first try. Here's hoping that luck still holds on this little project. :|

I'm so old that the 4 band color codes are burned into my brain, so when I see 5 bands I have to think twice to figure them out. The only other thing I noticed was that the pilot lamp wasn't fully seated in the socket.

I'm sure that you'll have no problems, other than not wanting to stop playing through it!
