I got the head done last evening. I should have the speaker cabinet finished later today.

Another amazing build, Danny! You would have no trouble supplementing your retirement, if ever you wanted to do so. Wish I were so talented ...

Danny, I know you probably don't agree, but I think that amp head looks excellent with the gold-colored faceplate. Maybe this comes under the heading of "happy accident!"

It just looks so clean and classy. Your skills amaze me.

That color scheme turned out really well, Danny, just the way I imagined it to be. 8-)
"I told you so!"
Great job again. You didn't say you once worked for Fender, did you?

Thanks everyone for the kind words and especially Mr. Bill, Jim Page and Mel, for their areas of expertise. I am pleased with the finished product and am really glad to say, this project is DONE!

That looks incredible! Now, get some 1/8" aluminum sheet stock and cut a couple of Ellison logos out for the front panels.

Now here's a question for everybody here that has owned a Fender piggy back amp. Should the speaker cabinet jack be in the lower right or the upper left of the back panel?

I always remember that they came from the factory in the upper left side. Then because everybody started to set their speaker cabinets up vertically they would have to reorient the back panel so that the speaker wire would reach the jack.

Anyway, great job Danny.

Regarding the speaker jack, I bought my 1965 Bandmaster brand new and the jack came in the lower right hand corner.

Some aluminum logo's would be great. I'll have to think on that though. ;)
