I have a D67 Fuzzmite that is acting up - the footswitch will click on the fuzz, but it won't always click back to the straight signal. Sometimes it is there, but more often it is not. No signal at all. Faulty switch perhaps? Unfortunately I didn't buy the pedal direct and I don't have any contact info for the maker.

Most likely. That's where I'd start.

Check all leads to the switch and back to thier origin.

Replace the switch and if that doesn't fix it, PM me, I'll put you in contact with the guy you need to talk to.

Mike, also, check to make sure that there are not any wires that might be touching something that
they AIN'T suppose to be touching . Believe it or not, that could also create those symptoms .

Thanks, Dennis - I'll check that out as well when I open it up again.

If you haven't tried it yet, clean the switch with some deoxit or some other contact cleaner. Sometimes the switch will gum up and not make contact, but it will usually respond to cleaning.

this forum is awesome. I have a similar problem with a pedal of mine, and it seems like a no brainer to hit the switch with a little contact cleaner and see if it helps. one of those moments where you say duh! why didn't I think of that?
