Hallmark quality!

Postby TriflerShawn » Mon Aug 13, 2012 8:34 am

..so I was changing the strings on my Hallmark II.
Took off all of the strings so I could clean the fretboard. While I had them off I figured
I'd "look under the hood". I was pleased by what I saw.

Now I already was very impressed by the build/finish quality, so I figured it'd be the same story with
the electronics, and it was. Nice neat wiring. High quality pots, not CTS, but definitely not those tiny
dime sized pots. The pickup cavities are neatly coated in graphite. Just nice touched all around.

BTW...put a set of 10 - 46 Boomers. Liking the sound!

I'll report more on that later though............

The cavities in all Hallmarks are coated in black shielding paint quieter performance. :)
