Updated pic with white neck pickup in JR

I also put gold sperzels on. I took cleaner wax and razor blade and was able to get the signature off and slap my band's name on. :)

White is right! Which pickup is in the neck? Looks really great Marky, I think it will look even better on stage.

Thanks Bob! It's actually the old bridge pickup. Since I never use the neck, I figured I would save the cash towards the bass and just paint it. I used Krylon plastic - gloss white. 6 very light coats. It doesn't even affect the sound!

Oh, now I understand. I was confused as to how you got the white pickup cover with no pickup screw holes. I can't tell from the picture it was painted, nice job!

Hey Marky,

As you may suspect I did not mean that WIR quote in that context. It never even occurred to me the other side of it. Oops!

Man, I wish I could have been at the Manges show to see you both play! 2 for 1!

Did he use his Hallmark JR model?

Oh I know Bob! I just have an offensive sense of humor!
Yeah Andrea played his JR. I showed him mine as well. I brought it as a back up. I let the other guitarist in the band I played in use my sunset. Looked great! Hallmarks everywhere!
