Out here in California, I heard on the TV news that the East is getting hit hard--12"-14" of snow in some places is what I heard. Yikes--that's a lot of snow to get all at once. Everybody, stay dry, stay safe, and I hope everyone has a great holiday. On a positive note, it looks like I'm going to be able to get a 60 Custom after the first of the year. Only problem is--I'm having a hard time deciding what color to get! I'm leaning toward the sunburst--I've always liked that look on Mosrites--but the white pearl-with-tortoiseshell is a great look too, and I'm dying to see a pic of that new Surf Pearl. I guess it all depends on what Bob has in stock when I've got the cash...

Hey--

I was in a band with a guy who was just obsessed with all things Clapton. He indulged this passion by having one of every color Clapton Stratocaster, along with every variant of the Martin-sigged guitars.

I was baffled by that, though, in his defense, he and his wife have no kids and make good incomes.

But I was reminded of that when I read jfine wondering which H60C to order. I had a very tough time deciding, and I bet others have, too.

They are all beautiful, and, if I was cursed with too big a bank account, I would have all the H60C color options hanging in a row on a white music-room wall. That would really be impressive and beautiful, even if it was totally self-indulgent.

Of course, my wife would shoot me.

Pictures don't do the Pearl White finish from Hallmark Justice. It looks great in person and amazing under stage lights. I apologize for starting the "stray Ball" rolling!!! I just compared my Pearl White 60 Custom to the snow coming down in East Tennessee. Being snowed in means more time with my Mosrites and Hallmarks!!!!

Hey guys!

Jim you are definately on the right track. Everyone should purchase AT LEAST one of each color. It is simply more impressive to women. And....... if that is acomplished, then we have done our job. It is a selfless action that is in the interest of compatability.

Also, I would like to point out, do have 2 girls to put through college and if everone did as Jim suggests, I just may even be able to retire one day.

Jim, you MUST set the example by starting first.

I will await your first order of a half dozen or so.

Jim, thanks so much for your wisdom on this thread. You get the Hallmark "Albert Einstein" award for today and will be entered into the Joe Hall of Fame inductee's list.
