Marky, I've done that a time or two.
Raising the low E to 5/64 seemed to help a bit. I'm pretty sure I have the heavier spring installed as well.
Using 11's helps as well. With 10's on I was doing it more often.

I put on the heavier spring, always used 11's, and raised the action a hair. We played (hard) last night, and.....NO PROBLEMS! :)
