That is right! It is like a penny that the date never got stamped on!

Well if you do decide to forgo the fortune. We use a 1/8' wide number stamp set.

Aww. Who needs all that money anyway? I'll keep the guitar. :D

Seriously though, I'll probably get it stamped because a guitar with a serial number is easier to prove it is mine if it ever misappropriated.
