Wie gehts auf Deutschland

Hi everyone (hi Lynn, back from the board). I'm your typical Mosrite/Ventures guy. First Ventures album I heard was "Another Smash" in 1964 and was blown away by "Ghost Riders in the Sky" and have been hooked ever since. Started playing at the guitar at that time and a year later walked into Thomas Music Store in my hometown of Hobbs, NM and fell head over heals for a 1965 sunburst Ventures Mark 1. $395 for a 15 year old was a bit steep but, my Dad, bless him, cosigned an agreement and I became the proud owner of that very instrument. Here it is almost 45 years later and I still have my treasure.
When I moved to Germany from New Orleans last year, most of my possessions went into storage, but the Mosrite now is in the care of my oldest grandson. He's a pretty good picker himself (although I'm not into his type of tunes) and is treating it like I would. So it lives in Seattle at the moment and although I love my '79 Fender Telecaster it just ain't the same as my baby.

Current gear:
1965 Sunburst Ventures Model Mark I
1979 Blond Telecaster
Fender "Texas Red" Blues Jr. with "fat switch"
Yamaha acoustic
coming my way soon:2 Fulltone pedals, an OCD and a 69 Fuzz (on back order)
