What is the material of this body of Mosrite Ventures Mark II and Mark v?

Yes, it is Basswood. That's most likely to be a 1965 Ventures II. Most 1960s Mosrite Solid-Body models are Basswood; that includes most Ventures models (some early ones are Alder,) all Ventures II Slab Body models, all Ventures II German Carve Body models and all Mark V models. I'm not sure about the Joe Maphis Solid Body Single Neck models or the Joe Maphis solid body double neck models.
