Semie Moseley and family - 1957

Postby TerryTNM » Thu Jan 29, 2009 11:54 am

Here is a shot I'll bet most of you haven't seen before (at least I never did) unless you stopped by the Mosrite booth at NAMM . This shot is on the cover of the Mosrite brochure from Fillmore. I hadn't seen Dana Moseley since 1959 at Semie's home in the San Fernando Valley. I introduced myself and obviously had no idea who I was. She was about 3 or 4 at the time. We met up again at the Juke Joint on Friday night where she had come to see Buddy Dughi and yet again at the Geek Festival where she was introduce as royalty at the beginning of the All Mosrite Band. It was nice to make the connection again.

Did someone leave out a word? ;)

Great memorable photo. That's they way Semie looked the first time I met him on Minner Street in
Oildale. I only seen his wife a daughter once that I recall.

So who's Virgie? That was Semie's first wife. I believe Loretta was wife number four.
