Not all. The Terry model (c.1985) is the only Semie produced Mosrite that featured M knobs with no skirts whatsoever.

Perhaps he was too busy chasing skirts to put them on that one? :D

MIJ would be Made in Japan, Austin. First line, tenth word of the link you posted. And even if you skipped the text altogether, nothing about that guitar says vintage.

I assumed the 3/4 models were vintage because I saw one on eBay a while back that looked like it had been through a lot. Even if it was I shouldn't really assume it was vintage.

I've been wondering the same thing. It would sound more trebley for the higher notes but since Mark V pickups weren't wound up to Mark I specs I'm not sure what else to say.

By the way, There's a sunburst Mark V available from Guitar Center for $1,899.

The link only takes you to the Used Gear section. You have to do a search for the guitar.

Just for the heck of it, here's an old Mark V I sold back in the early 90's.......

The only thing I didn't like was it didn't have the rollers on the vibrato bridge.
My son used to play it in his punk band, until he discovered my Bluesbender.
