signed pickguards

Postby moaimen » Wed May 20, 2009 4:12 pm

I'll get a picture up when I work out the details but I'm wondering if it was common for Semie to sign the back of pickguards on mosrites. The back of my Bluesbender has "Semie" signed on it. Although I've owned 5 different mosrites over the years, this is the only one I can remember that is signed, unless I've forgotten or didn't look for it.
Anybody else have one?

Yeah!
Very interesting Moaimen...this might open up a whole can of worms.
I only knew one other guy who had Semie's SIG underneath the P'Guard.
Mine has Semie's SIG underneath my Celebrity I p'guard ;) .....
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

LOL! You made me go look under my Celebrity's pickguard. I haven't had it that long, so didn't know if there was a little Easter egg there. Unfortunately, no signature.

BTW, welcome to the forum moaimen!

Wow, that's pretty cool. Now I'm going have to take a peek! Nope, not hidden goodie on mine.
