Understood, but I am actually still questioning the actual 'string travel.' I think that although the initial attack of the string traveles to the Zero Fret,
I believe the length of the string signal might actually get 'choked' when it possibly reaches the String Guide, or a different type of material (wood, plastic, bone,
or more Brass or Metal,etc)....My '88 has a Brass String Guide (which is supposed to give you more sustain), and it BLOWS my other Mo's totally
out of the water!
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.
