Hi All. This is Elaine Frizzell. I wish to discuss the typo that appeared regarding the Gene Moles' Mosrite. My webmaster
typed the wrong date, it is 1961. Semie and I talked about this Guitar 30 years ago. I spent the best part of 2008
working with Andy Moseley completing Guitars and Basses and other Mosrite products that Andy had acquired at the
Mosrite Bankrupty in Bakersfield. I completed this Guitar along with a 1959 Bound, set neck, Joe Maphis Model. These Guitars were in many pieces and had to be put together. The original finishes on these two guitars were in good shape.
Andy and I talked last night. He told me again as had Semie that 1959 was the first time there was a "Reverse Strat"
as some call it, was made. The best part of this history is that I got to take it out and play it before Andy SOLD IT.
It played great. I was proud to be able to play it once I had completed the work. I called Gene's Son Eugene here in Nashville and told him his Dad's guitar lives on.Image

My thoughts, exactly! And on a related topic, Elaine, your Mosrite double neck is perhaps the most beautiful musical instrument I've ever seen. It's a national treasure, in my opinion.

Hi Elaine,
It's great to have another one of the icons of Mosrite history here. Look forward to your comments, and hopefully some pictures.

Thanks gplayer and strat-o-rama. I will try to not disappoint you all. I really feel I am among special friends already.
My life time of friendship with Semie and Andy And Mark Moseley along with Joe Maphis and Rose Lee Maphis
was a honor. Semie and Joe are no longer with us as is Merle Travis. These loved ones are so special to me. That guitar
that Joe blessed and did play before he passed. I agree with Terry and you folks it is a National Treasure. I was so glad to
be able to share the little neck off Joe's original. As Terry TNM revealed you can still see the glue up when the original
head stocks were converted to 3 on a side from the original 6 inline.
